About The Indian Joint Registry (IJR)
With the ever-increasing number of hip and knee joint replacement procedures being undertaken in India, the Indian Joint Registry (IJR) provides an essential, central registry of data about those procedures. The IJR is vital for improving patient safety and ensuring that patients achieve the best outcomes from joint replacement surgery.
The Indian Society of Hip and Knee Surgeons (ISHKS) has partnered with Northgate Public Services (NPS) for the provision of the IJR. NPS has been delivering the world-class UK National Joint Registry for over ten years and has the knowledge and technical expertise necessary to support ISHKS in the delivery of the IJR. NPS’ experience of managing large health datasets ensures that the data are held securely, and that patient and clinician confidentiality is maintained at all times.
